A brother in Christ asked: Why do some Christians suffer in pain and poverty? Response: All Christians go through pain in their life regardless of their income. It simply is called life. God never promises that our life will be perfect; He does promise that all things will work for the good of those who love Him (Roman 8:28). Sometimes Christians were born into poverty. Other times they placed themselves there with bad choices. Other times they chose to be poor to live a simple life. Other times God led them there to help a certain people group. It's important to recognize everyone is different and so I don’t choose to generalize all Christians.
