Can I have the same relationship with God before I became backslidden?

When believers backslide why is it so hard to get back to where they use to be? After I backslide, I’m repentant but its so hard to go back to that special place before hand.

Response:

God loves us very much. God cannot love us any more than He does right now. His love is perfect. When we are walking in unity with the creator love does not become, but God lets us be a part of what is. He lets us see Himself. When we backslide slowly, we become blinded. The love does not go away neither does the relationship.

Why?

Because it's not at all dependent on us but the work of Christ Jesus.

So, What is happening?

In scripture, we see that whenever Jesus is needed, it is as if He walks a little further away so we might call on Him. Jesus likes to be sought after.  In the search for Him, you find out new truths about His sovereignty and providence.  It is not hard but steady because everything is already there. He is just looking for you to reach out a little longer than the woman with the issue of blood.

Jesus' Last Words On Earth

Luke 23:46 reads; And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, He said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit and having said thus, He gave up the ghost. These were the very last words Jesus spoke on the cross. It was the 6th hour, and it was dark. As Jesus hung there on that cross, His body badly beaten, His hands stretched wide and nailed, His feet nailed together, depending on that cross with a crown of thorns had been smashed on His head.  A sign was posted on the cross that said King of the Jews. The pain that Jesus felt on that cross was great. Summer resolution+Deception= relativism (death). God!

 Disclaimer: Praise God this is a beautiful piece. I wrote this about 2 years ago. I was undergoing some persecution from my extended family and online. While I was writing I was talking to you and encouraging myself. It sounds harsh, what else is new. But it holds some great truths so blah. I'm going to keep it =). Does anyone know when 2013 starts? I want to make a new year’s resolution like I did last summer. My new year’s resolution then was to get closer to God, Now look at Him. He is using me to touch people all around the world with the Gospel. I’m really glad I decided to give myself to Him and allow Him to prepare me for this work. It’s been a year already.
