During the last couple years, God has been putting me through some extreme testing. I have failed a lot of test and trials. I passed them eventually by Gods grace.
God doesn’t rest from being Himself. Everything God does is lovely and amazing, regardless if we see it that way or not.
Something changed.
What?
What?
God isn’t changing one thing about himself. He never has. He still convicts me. He still loves. He smiles. He gets sad. He gets mad. Also if you pull Him the wrong way, He’ll punch you, just playing around of course!
What in fact changed?
Absolutely nothing concerning Him, but absolutely everything that has to do with me. I just got new eyes. When you become closer to the light, you see more. When regenerated you not only see clearly but also you become the brightness. The Lord of glory camps in our dwelling changing us from the inside out, outside in. We are members of Christ’s body.
Adam Declared, in Genesis 2:3: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh…”
I suppose that’s why He named Eve after Himself.
… She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man
Perhaps like Christ?
Well!
John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
John 6:56 He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him.
Acts 11:26 and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
With these new eyes, I see things, as they ought to be.
How are things supposed to be?
Hmmm. God made Adam and Eve perfect. They walked about as perfect encompassed by a divine reality. When man fell, they walked about according to their own eyes.
Proverbs 14:12, There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
Adam and Eve consciously rebelled against Gods authority and acted according to there own determinations, and not surprisingly, it resulted in the fall of Man.
When one is born again, God embodies that life leading humans to live, as they ought to. As redeemed people, we can see things other people can’t and do things other people find impossible.
What do you mean?
God says that worldly people are blind.
Mathew 15:14. Let them alone: they are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Because men are inherently evil, we all need a savior. God then makes us a new person.
Ex. If you’re in the world and someone kills your child you’re going to seek justice. You’d make sure that criminal remains behind bars, forgiving him/her is unthinkable.
When your redeemed and someone kills your child, you are sorrowful but have an esteem and dignity to you. You know about Gods sovereign will and His providence. It can even be that God prepared and/or warned you this will happen, and it's part of His plan. Depending on your child salvation status your assured they are with Christ Jesus and you’ll see them again.
You may have bitterness and guilt, but the indwelling Spirit will convict, lead, and comfort you. You’ll seek justice using Gods guidance. If the police don’t ketch him/her you know God knows where he/she is and says “It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord (Romans 12:19). We also have the fruits of the Spirit in us, which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). With the ongoing sanctification of the Holy Spirit, we wish the killer to be saved and filled with the joy of God.
We realize that were reborn by the merit of Christ Jesus alone. When we were in the world, our heart found no difference when compared to the killer. Given the right circumstances, we could have done what he/she did to a child perhaps worse. Grace saves us. Thus we have been forgiven freely so let us forgive.
Mathew 6:15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
As Christians, we walk in a world of darkness. Those physically blind people are given more wisdom than those in the world who see but are dead. The blind know that there blind. The world understands itself to be wise. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools (Romans 1:22).
How do I see?
Look:
When the wind blows on our face, God remind us of
Grace. God drips His beautiful lace on this fallen race.
He utters His voice in a Heavenly Place,
galore ripples effects through eternity forevermore.
From Heaven to earth the spreading influence continues, let
us see how it affects our venue.
When He utters His voice, there is
a multitude of waters in the heavens:
“And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth.
He makes lightning for the rain;
He brings the wind out of His treasuries (Jeremiah 10:13).
