Removing Stumbling Blocks

What’s been going on? Praise God. Hey! I’ve been well I hope you’ve been good too. You know Just doing this and that. What has the Lord been showing you lately? Praise God. I’m glad you asked. You have some time right? All the time in the world! Awesome! Lately, I have been having these moments of sadness because I continue to sin. I hate sinning because I am constantly aware that I’ve lost sight of God. Who can lose sight of something so precious? What is anything apart from God? What has caught my gaze to such an extent that I ignore something the Lord has told me to do? The sin could be simple as wanting to go on Facebook rather than read scripture. It can be doing extra homework rather than singing to the Lord or mapping out the day tomorrow in my head worrying as I drift to sleep instead of being amazed at the glories of God. Why do you do that? Praise God. You mean why do we do that? I don’t do that! You bear no feelings of falling short? You uphold ...

Praise God. Personal Dialogue with the Lord.

Hi? How are you doing? Praise God. I am doing well. I know I haven’t written a blog in forever. Where have you been? You know I’ve been around. You’ve seen me here and there. You know remember that one time and that other place. Lol I thought I might share a conversation between God and I with you. Perhaps it will encourage you to further your walk with Christ. Praise God. Awesome. You remember the whole conversation? Yes and no. As we spoke together I wrote the whole thing down testing the spirit of course! Cool! Why did you decide to share a conversation with God now? I felt led to besides the Lord is my greatest treasure and I treasure you so expensive things put with other expensive things is a gracious display of beauty.   This conversation is 100% unrefined, raw, fresh, and pure. It's not edited so it’ll be interesting. Great! Lets begin Ok! Wait! What? I just wanted to ...

Why do some Christians suffer in pain and poverty?

A brother in Christ asked: Why do some Christians suffer in pain and poverty? Response: All Christians go through pain in their life regardless of their income. It simply is called life. God never promises that our life will be perfect; He does promise that all things will work for the good of those who love Him (Roman 8:28). Sometimes Christians were born into poverty. Other times they placed themselves there with bad choices. Other times they chose to be poor to live a simple life. Other times God led them there to help a certain people group. It's important to recognize everyone is different and so I don’t choose to generalize all Christians. Some of my favorite quotes are: “Sometimes the devil will let you have whatever you want so you won’t need God.” C.s Lewis said “God whispers to us in our pleasures but He shouts to us in our pain.” Someone wise once said, “We don’t change when we see the light but when we feel the heat.” I will not cause pain without allowin...

Standing on the Rock (Obeying Gods Instruction)

Praise God. God revealed a concept to me that will be beneficial to other Christians. Lately, I have talked to brothers and sisters in Christ who want to get closer to the Lord although disobedience will hinder that walk. Why? Sin hinders getting closer to the Father. What is sin? Sin is a transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). Rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 9:7; Joshua 1:8) Didn’t God take upon Himself our sins? Yes, God crushed His only begotten son under the fullness of His wrath. Jesus Christ acted as our penal substitution so that we can be declared legally righteous before a Holy and Just God. So? …. As soon as Christ died on Calvary, our relationship has and always will be 100%. A relationship with Christ is a revealing of His love for us not a making of it. Therefore If God is infinite so is His love for us and it takes an eternity to grasp. Like any revelation, we must spend time in the word and seek out the Holy Spirit...

Poetic Dialogue with God: Serenade

Praise God. God and I sometimes have something of a poetic dialogue in my downtime with Him. It exists in the inward chamber of my heart. I hope this encourages you to seek the Lord. March 21, 2014. 11:00pm God: My lovely dove how I care for you, so much. My heart yearns for your heart to touch mine. Jasmine: Sometimes I am plagued with many worries, and I cannot hear or feel you. God: Hear me in my grace and feel me in my mercy. Jasmine: I have listened, and upon your splendor, I will rest. God: Low and behold I have made a place where you can lay your head. Jasmine: My love for you is but a morsel compared to your love for me, but great is my loyalty to my king. God: My beautiful flower I have set you on a hill so no one can hinder the Son from shining forth light brilliantly on your soul. Jasmine: I will be still, and the song of my heart is “I Am.” God: My eyes have calmed, and my hands have loved your warmth beloved. Jasmine...

I Just came out of backsliding...

I just came out backsliding… -Praise God. When people start backsliding its starts with conscience disobedience then God draws them back and being humble they repent. People think that God will give them some other instruction. Perhaps give into their desires or somewhere along those lines. When you walk with Christ again, you’ll find that God has not changed His mind. He’s more aggressive, and His voice is louder in His instruction than before. You’ll find that He’ll call you to do things that if you weren’t backslidden, you know how to do. During that time that was supposed to be your training season. In all reverence to God He is sovereign and regardless of Human will power His will, will be done. How God decides to teach you His authority varies but it is crucial to grasp. Therefore do not lose heart in what He is doing, it is for your future benefit. My son, do not reject the discipline of the LORD or loathe His reproof, For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth;...

Believing is Seeing!

During the last couple years, God has been putting me through some extreme testing. I have failed a lot of test and trials. I passed them eventually by Gods grace. God doesn’t rest from being Himself. Everything God does is lovely and amazing, regardless if we see it that way or not. Something changed. What? God isn’t changing one thing about himself. He never has. He still convicts me. He still loves. He smiles. He gets sad. He gets mad. Also if you pull Him the wrong way, He’ll punch you, just playing around of course! What in fact changed? Absolutely nothing concerning Him, but absolutely everything that has to do with me. I just got new eyes. When you become closer to the light, you see more. When regenerated you not only see clearly but also you become the brightness. The Lord of glory camps in our dwelling changing us from the inside out, outside in. We are members of Christ’s body.   Adam Declared, in Genesis 2:3: “ This is no...
